I just had this sort of trivia discussion yesterday evening and I was wondering if any other player ever scored his first three NHL goals short handed? Anyone know?

I was watching the Pens/Flyers game last night and they said Bill Gardner did the same in 1982. He scored his first three short handed for the Blackhawks.
