Sportmask or Eddy Mask

I am trying to decide on what new helmet to buy because my last was cracked with a shot. I am considering a Sportmask or an Eddy Mask. I have had an Eddy before and I like them, but not very sure about the Sportmask.

Anyone have any suggestions or opinions for either one?

They are masks not helmets.

Both are quality products but I have found the sportmask to be lighter than the eddy. Depending on which models you are thinking of, you should be safe in either. I have models from both manufacturers.

I know they are masks, I just wrote helmet for some reason. Which Sportmask do you have? I would probably get the Razor or Riccochet. Ive looked them up, but I'm not sure if the difference are a big deal. Or if it is worth it to spend a few more bucks and get the higher model.

I've had a couple Eddy masks and have been pleased with both. Never had a sportmask but hear great things about them. Obviously, the best thing to do would be to go to your LHS and try them both on and see which one works for you.

It's a pet peeve of mine.

I have a ricochet, a razor and one that predates the model names that Tony custom built for me. It is a bit heavier than the others but a great mask nonetheless. Also have a mage and a mage II for that matter. Whether or not the higher end model is worth it to you, and the top model is, I believe, now the T3, really depends on the level that you play and your budget.
