eagle composite sticks

Recommended Posts

Yes, the Claw is a Sakic. I have both an Eagle X-70 Claw and a Stealth S17 Sakic, and the curves are so similar that there was almost no adjustment required for switching between the two. The shaft shape on the other hand is quite different. IMO the Eagle is the nicer feeling stick.

I got one of these off a member of this board. I never got around to doing a review but this is probably THE most balanced stick I have ever used!

I just bought two of these in a RH 90 flex and they are awesome sticks, but, the Claw (sakic) is too low of a lie for me (5.5). They are basically brand new but I'll sell them cheap, if anyone is interested PM me.

It's also got a thinner shaft like the old flyweight which probably accounts for some of the reduced weight. I was lucky enough to get a couple of early samples of this stick. One 80 flex around 430 grams and a 90 flex around 415 grams. They're really great sticks, they put my XN10's and my Stealth CNT in the garage. The weight on the 90 flex is a little on the excessively light side believe it or not but a lot of people are going to love it.

This stick made you retire the XN10? wow!! Btw, can I get some info. on the puck handling/feel on this puppy? I just stumbled across this thread and am trying to buy an xn10 right now, but it might fall through so this could be my back-up plan.

I can vouch for this stick. If you like the XN10 you will probably like the Eagle. It is about the same weight and I'd say the same feel as well. The shaft is more contoured then the XN10, I find that gives more feel stick handling wise. The only thing I don't like is the lack of patterns they offer.

I'm happy to hear that, if anyone is selling one of these in lefty 80 or so flex, PM me please. I'd prefer the Sakic-ish curve. I'd be happy to buy one for just below what they're selling it for new. BTW, if anyone has pictures of or has used a talon curve, I'd really appreciate a description.

Does anyone have the full co. description of the Eagle OPS? I can't find it anywhere online and I trashed my old Eagle product catalogs.

Many thanks!

Thanks! Actually I'm trying to ebay one of the ones I bought off of you if I remember right! lol

You don't happen to have any LH Beak 80 or 90 Flex's do you? I have a friend who loves these sticks, but he didn't like the Claw pattern I have, hence the sale...

I've never seen anyone using an Eagle stick, and I've actually never even read any reviews or comments about them.

Anyone have any knowledge as to whether Eagle is producing quality hockey sticks? Hockey Monkey is practically giving them away right now. 3 sticks each at less than 500g, and each is selling for under $100.
