oldtimer72 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2006 I've purchased the Wicked 1's about a month ago and played about couple hrs a week on them and noticed on the inner spokes of the mb816 wheels cracked, sorry no pics of them at this time...do you guys know if this is covered under mission or rink rat warranty? If not any one where I can buy some in the black colour...I see they just have in blue or red at the online stores.
arrows91 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2006 I think they maybe custom colours for the skates. Best thing to find out about the warranty is phone the shop and ask. And see if the wheels are covered by the mission skate warranty. I no from working in a hockey shop that shops are normally very reluctant to changing a product over for minor problems. In the UK any way.
DamnLocust 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2006 I've got MB816's and have cracked cores as well. they've held up pretty well, and none has exploded just yet. Then again, I haven't played much roller lately. Still, I played twice a week with them cracked for about 2 1/2 months, maybe a bit more.
oldtimer72 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2006 Here's some pics its the best I can do at this time. Yea can still play with them but it does seem to be safe and you can hear some sqeaking from the wheel as well.

oldtimer72 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 WOW! very impressed with rinkrats customer service. They've just gained a loyal customer 4life or as long as I play inline hockey. Issue has been resolved. Thnx again Mike.Hey Shute you know stopping is part of my game or maybe I do it just for the loud screeching sound it makes on the sportcourt. #96 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 Same thing happened to my wheels on the Wicked 3s. That happened to me with last year's MBs I had on my Tours. I was hoping they fixed it. I guess not. Still a great wheel though, at this point, I wouldn't skate on anything else.
BrunoZ 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2006 I'm catching the thread as I also got a problem on a MB816 on my W1 : the outer transparent urethane of one wheel got completely separated of the inner black urethane and the hub the minute I got in my brand new skates in my living room (20 seconds life span). You can clearly see air between the outer and the inner urethane all around the wheel, and the wheel is completely unusable (behaves exactly like a flat tire).RR15, can I contact you directly about it ? I can send you detailed pictures. One detail : I live in France ...
Icedog03 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2006 the wicked 1, 3, 5, and 7 have the rink rat warrenty/info on the front of the boxLike he said, all the information is on the box. Mission and the LHS or where ever you got them from has nothing to do with wheel issues. Its all on you
