Flyerguy91 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2006 in car audio its all about price, you get what you pay for, look at cardomain.com forums. alot of info
sdcopp 1 Report post Posted December 19, 2006 exactly, price can be the deal breaker. You can put together a decent system on a budget, prolly a grand for everything you're looking for unless you go bargain shopping and can catch some price breaks. If you want a killer system a single set of speakers could run you a grand, so it's in what your budget is, what type of system you want (heavy bass, overall sound quality, etc.) crutchfield.com is usually where I start looking since they usually have decent pricing and tons of info. Flyerguy91 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2006 one viable option is to spec out what youwant and thenwatch on ebay for it to come along, or look on some forums whose members sell car audio. its worth a lil bit of time to buy it piece by piece and save money. example the retail for my system was around 1250 but i only paid 600ish. ThanksHow much do you value "both arms and stick budget for a year"? In other words, what is your budget?
gtoddh 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2006 If you don't get it all at once it makes the overall cost a bit easier to swallow. I would start with a sub. That makes ALL the difference. You would be surprised how well even OEM speakers work when not asked to reproduce bass. Go from there. The sky (and your budget)'s the limit!
