I just bought the Godfather trilogy. I've only seen the first one right now and i see in the 2nd one that DeNiro is playing Vito, but Vito died in the first one, and he was played by brando. So is this a new guy with the same name? Or is this kind of like a prequal movie and niro plays a young vito before the first godfather happened?

Remember i havent seen it yet so try not to give any spoilers, i just dont want to be confused when i watch it. thx.
