Canuckville 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2007 WOW! Just talked to the Graf Rep 'cause i was thinking about getting a custom as well. He said the custom price went up almost double from before. Before it was like $150 on top of the what skates you get. Now it's like $300. so now you are will be looking at $700US, Yikes!Because now the Custom will be going to "Pro Custom" department and they are short on people so turn around time for your custom skates is at least 12 weeks. Even some NHLer's custom skates are behind as well. The best time to order one is right after NHL playoff.
M-Cohen 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2007 In my opinion definatly not worth it (custom Graf's that is). A few buddies on my team have got customs and they are both falling apart after about 7 months of use. Hardly worth $150 upcharge definatly not worth $300 upcharge. Guy Incognito 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2007 I may be re-thinking this. I wear a 709 10.5 W boot. Anyone have any other brand suggestions where I could get custom? My footbed is all f'ed up.

My footbed is all f'ed up.Are you looking for cosmetic so it looks like the 709 for the picture that you posted? 'cause for Cosmetic i don't think it's worth all that. It's pretty pricey but if you are doing for the fit that might be a different story. But now you local shop should have all the tool to do minor adjustment. unless you have really super narrow feet or reall wide feet that they need bigger toecap. but over all if you have wide feet they can stretch and punch out the front.
