new bag

Recommended Posts

i am currently in need of a new bag. my nike quest backpack bag just isnt cutting it for all my ice gear.

i am looking for a wheeled bag, with lots of room for all my stuff. how is the stealth 9 bag? is it all gimmick with the stand and the skate mat?

i am open for suggestions on bags. i want a wheeled bag for sure, but what kind is a good bag? i know bags dont matter that much, but the whole orginizational thing in a backpack bag isnt working for me.

what was the bag with all the organisers in it? i think it was really expensive but i dont remmeber.

please help me you all.

thanks

I have the RBK 8k and it is pretty nice. Easy to carry and the wheels are good. If you get a wheel bag make sure it has a telescoping handle or it will hit you in the back of the legs...

I just got a Stealth S7 for christmas. It was backordered, but came in this week. The thing is absolutely huge. I could probably fit all of my ice and roller gear in there together.

Construction seems durable enough, but the zippers don't seem to be all that strong. The shell is thick and seems like it will last, but there are some areas that have mesh that I don't trust (In the frontnear the removable personal items bag, and on top, near the pocket for wet clothes) The towel is a nice touch too.

All in all, it's got a ton of neat features, but it's more than I would have wanted/needed. I would have been happy with an eagle or fury pro player bag, but my sister overheard me joking about wanting a wheel bag. So goes life.

do you have a link for the eagle bag?

They aren't wheel bags, there are just large bags with one main compartment, no shoulder strap, and no skate pockets. They're just like one big duffle bag that you carry by the straps, like NHL teams use.

Oh man, I wanted one of those for Christmas so badly, I ended up with the three wheeler Team Canada bag, although Im not a big fan of the bag company, it still seems to do the job well without ripping to shreds, but the bag that I got was actually pretty good not to mention big

... But the Helmet compartment...!

If you're into backpacks, get the Easton Synergy backpack. It's the biggest backpack out there and holds all my ice gear without a problem. I've tried going back to a shoulder bag and no dice.

I have the Warrior Mac Daddy wheel bag. It's the very first wheel bag for me. It has more than enough room for all my ice hockey pads and equipment. I got it on epuck.

I too have the S7 bag and have been using it for a little while now. Best bag EVER. It's massive and has a ton of great features; the whole thing basically turns in to a giant mesh laundry bag so you can air out your gear. Haven't had any problems with it at all. I haven't used the S9 bag (I personally liked the look of the S7 better), but with as happy as I am about the S7 I'm sure the S9 would be fanatastic as well.

Yea it's a good bag much better than the Vapor 20. The RBK 8k has a good design and a place to air out skates

I have used many bags, and I have found that they are often too expenzive and dont hold up. What I do now is search the online reatailers for what are called team bags. They are the bags that are sold to teams, but without the logos. These bags are sturdy, functional, simple looking, and are cheap.
