Restitching Skates

I have gone back to my old skates and skating pain free. I am wondering wondering if anyone has had their skates restitched? If so where? Preferably in the NY/Northeast area. I would like to put some of the old stiffness back into my skates. Thanks.

A reputable shoe shop that does repairs should be able to do the stitching, but it will not bring back the stiffness. It will have to live on in your memory.

I have had skates restitched but not rebuilt.I wasn't aware you could do that? But will they feel the same as the original?
