Skate Suggestion Please

I have been playing roller hockey my whole life, but I recently moved to the

Suburbs to a house on the lake and with the resource right in my back yard

I would like to start to play on ice. I am 27 so I am not going to grow out of them and Will probably use them allot so I know its not going to be a cheap investment. I would Probably like to stay in the $200 range give or take but if I must go higher to find Quality then it is what it is. I really don’t know much about ice skates prices or quality in brands, and I don’t want to assume the same quality brands in Roller skates make quality ice skates. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

DEFINITELY just be fitted professioanlly as no one on this website can tell you which skate is best for you. Basically, what ever fits and is comfortable, make that purchase

If a certain company fits you well in RH skates they'll likely fit you somewhat well in ice hockey skates as well. You could start from there. Still, someone trained/experienced in fitting skates at your LHS is an invaluable resource, and if you have the opportunity to go to one, I would certainly do that.

You can get a pretty good skate at the $200 pricepoint that should last a good deal of time playing recreationally.
