Don't know if you saw this thread, but it's got a lot of good info in it in terms of color choices as well as some pictures of other members' customs.

As far as where to get them, your best bet would be to go into a shop that carries sher woods at retail and ask them about having some customs made up.

thx that helped, but now i have some new questions, bout what JR said.

Choice of color, hickory or fibreglass hosel, choice of wrap (standard glass, glass with kevlar runner, graphite glass and that "Pro Stock" brown wrap. I've tried them all, currently on graphite glass, Bob told me it would be as stiff than double glass but lighter. He was right.

1. whats the differnece between hickory & Fibreglass hosel

2. diffrent wraps

3. reason i ask about who could do this was becuase the LHS around me, how do i say, i dont trust...they sold me a pair of skates that had holders mounted wrong. (not straight, but angled on the boot) so i refuse to go through them

im pretty sure he was talking about TPS custom Blades at that point.

A full wood stick doesnt have choice of hosel, as the hosel is part of a replacement blade. With a full stick, you'd have options for shaft type, essentially different woods will give different feels. Different model sticks will have different shaft constructions.

Same goes for blade wraps and any other blade construction questions.

As far as the shop selling you skates with a bad mount, they could have been mounted that way from the manufacturer. (unless it wasn't a stock holder) these things do happen.
