James 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 I had my V12s for about a year and then I out grew them. I loved them. great skates except for the steel runner cracked in half. I was getting off of the ice and I felt it falling out and when I got in to the locker room, I looked and the preferated part of the steel was in half. I replaced them with solid steel and they were fine. This is just what happened to me, but i do recomend these. And yes, they were once a top end skate. KYHockey3 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 the holders on these skates must be defective or something.i have had 2 pairs and known quite a few people with them, and they all got screwed up somehow.the boot is great though!i picked my 2nd pair up a couple months ago for like $
fedorov#91 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 I have them, but i use them for roller so i cant comment on the holders, but the boot itself is amazing, good feel, the whole game fit ready is true and they also have good protection
buffalo hockey 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 ok so far its a great boot but the holders are shit correct?...also isnt 270 kinda high for those skates?
Alias81 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 Giants had them on closeouts before at $100 or less I think, a friend of mine bought some and soon realised that the arch wasn't as forgiving as he'd hoped. The LS Steel has been fairly brittle on the V12's I've seen come in so expect the runners to break, slap some non-perf's on there and you should be fine. vapor96 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 If they are your size and that's the only place that has them, it's not a bad price. They were 399.99 when they came out.
