Proper Roller Skating stride?

Compared to ice skating, is there a "proper roller skating stride" that one can develop? I've been learning backward skating recently along with trying to improve forward movements, but I was just wondering if there's a 'correct' stride in roller hockey, just as there are ideal forms in ice skating.

the form is pretty much the same as ice, the feel is different, however, especially when it comes to tight turns and stopping.
