Datsyukiandeek 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2007 Well, ive got power windows and as stupid as it sounds I tried putting them down last month while the car was frozen over. Point being, the window stuck and the track that moves the window up and down just kepting going down and the window stuck in place. I was driving down the express way a couple days later and the window just dropped to the bottom of the door. It wasn't broken, thankfully. I reinserted the window into the track and it functions pretty well. The only problem is, some times the window gets stuck in the up position and the holder keeps on moving like before. Ive had my door panel off for a couple weeks and I would like to solve the problem permantally without paying someone to do it. Is there a glue required to keep the window in its track?Thanks.. DamnLocust 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2007 there should be a bolt that holds the glass and the track together, the bolt may have cracked due to the cold, or the glass around the hole may have cracked. if the glass around the hole cracked, you may need to replace the window to get it to work properly. in the meantime, when it gets stuck, just push t down a bit by hand. MAke sure that the track isn't all the way down though, so the window doesn't have to fall too far.
