Recommended Posts

EDIT: I`m here adn just got back from the Grouse Mountain, it was spectacular and have already gone to Ganville Sland and Sanish Bancks Beech. I switched to the Holiday Inn Downtown adn was wondering besides Stanley Park, Robson St, Pacific Mall, Cyclone Taylor, Kits Beach and the Capilano where I should check out! Thanks!

Stanley Park is a cool place to go visit. Cyclone Taylor on Oak Street is a real good shop, but it isn't too big. Downtown Van is really nice. If you're looking for a good mall, Pacific Centre is awesome. Probably the best mall I've ever been to. Theres a lot more, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

Shopping, head down Robson.

Go to a BC Lions game, great football for cheap.

Head out to kits beach, as it will be around 75-80 all through the month.

If you have lots of time, take a ferry over to Victoria, one of the coolest rides to on of the coolest cities you'll ever get to.

As for food, well, if you like your seafood you are goin to the right place. There are hundreds of incredible restaurants there, anywhere and everywhere.

As Kosy said, definately check out Stanley Park though. If your into hiking or mountain biking see if you can take the gondola up Grouse mountain., overlookin the city

Have a good time. Its a wicked city.

Another great mall to go to is Metrotown in Burnaby, there's a SkyTrain stop right there. Skytrain is like the subway but it's above the ground if you didnt know  The BC Lions game wasn't really a good time when I was there, they were getting whallopped and nothing was going right, now that Dickenson's out, they won't have much offence, imo. There are some nice restaurants along Robson Street. I forget the name of one but its acorss from the Tommy Hilfiger store... is that still there? If your going to go to a beach go to wreck beach :o If your interested in women playing baseball.. go to Softball City on 24th and 148th in Surrey. Do you know where your staying, Chris?

If you don't have a place to stay, might I suggest the Four Seasons downtown. I know its pretty pricey, but any place that greets me with cookies and milk is good in my book. Its also attached to Pacific Centre.

Kosy, I was going to sugget that or the Hotel Vancouver ( its a Fairmont ) and like you said, if it gives you coupons for milk and cookies its good. I may also sugget the Pan Pacific? I heard something about it closing down but I'm not sure about it.

Well my Aunt work for Crowne Plaza and their chain of hotels so I get the family discount, however, I`m not sure where I'm staying and will confirm it as soon as possible. Can anyone confirm if Cyclone still has those 2 USD T-Flex blades, I think I`ll stock up on those. I`m going to check out the malls and all the places mentioned, as for beeches, any nude ones?;)

They may not have the $2 T-Flexes in the store.

Send them an email or call them - I get them to ship the blades to their Coquitlam store and pick them up there.

Check out Kits beach - not nude but better scenery than Wreck Beach...

Is there a large Asian population in Vancouver?

Every second person. Unless you're in Surrey.

Sounds like my High School...

Nah...not anti-azn, my HS in NYC was 51% azn, so every other person was asian.
