NBH Supreme 30's or Vapor XIV?

First post after looking on this site for months. this thing is great and i hope i can be a contributing factor to a great idea.

i'm a roller vet and played ice long ago but my local roller rink just closed so ice it is. i need some new skates but i'm not sidney so i dont wanna shell out $500. my LHS has both the Vapor XIV and the NBH Supreme 30s for $149. I tried them both on and found them very similar in fit with minor diferences. the holders are the same so i was wondering if anyone could provide some input as to which would be better in the long run. I searched and searched the boards but didn't find much on the XIV's so i thought i'd ask (feel free to provide links i failed to find if you would like).

i have the XIV on hold in my size til tomorrow night since its the last pair. Oh, and this even a good deal for either pair?? i saw the 30's on Hockey giant for 130 but with shipping theyre about the same and i have store credit to the LHS so if its not a big rip off just figured i'd get some there. plus, its slim pickens as far as hockey equip here in san diego.

thanks ahead of time guys and any input on either skate or even other brands (i like the looks of the vector 4 se's for example) would be much appreciated.
