Gaseous Snake 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2007 I am currently using a McCauley Mission curve right now, but I am thinking about switching to the Ribeiro curve. Based on what I know it should help with less loft on my wrist shots and a better backhand, but I am sure there people here that would know better. Would it be a good idea to switch or stay with the McCauley? Thanks in advance for your help.
fastmiele 59 Report post Posted May 30, 2007 why don't you buy and try it anyways (L-2 blade) if you can get it for a relative low cost. Its the only way of really finding out if its any good for you. I was hesistant to try the Ribero curve/blade myself, but I gave it a shot and its not too bad. I liked it because it had a bit less loft than the McCauley. I haven't used a McCauley in a long time but from my memory it was a deeper heel curve. At the end of the day I thought both blades were okay and good for different things. The only negative thing I did not like about the Ribero is that the blade was a bit short for me.Good luck.
