what is a tapered shaft

hey i am just wondering what is a tapered shaft exactly and what are the advantages and disadvanteges if any im thinking about buying the l2 shaft

Do a search on that topic, I know there have been many discissions in the past on this topic...basically a tapered shaft has a lower kick point..Its basically one of the new one piece sticks but not fused together and the blades can be replaced...It is kinda hard to explain to someone who dosent know some what the basic diffrence is between the two already...Do a search on the topic and youll get a better understanding and get the answer your looking for.
