Roller skates?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

I'm looking to buy some new roller skates and i'm not sure which ones to get out of the bauer's or the new tour skates.

Or can u change ice goalie skates to roller?

Cheers

Craig.

You can cut the blade and holder off of an ice skate and add a roller chassis with great results. I don't like the setup of the bauer skates insomuch as they have smaller wheels that can have interference issues. I haven't had an opportunity to play in a new set of the tours but that should be rectified RSN.

The nike bauer xg lites in my opinion are brilliant skates, they are comfertable the wheels and everthing are good quality aswell only one issue is with the toe ties on pads can interfere with the wheels but there are ways around it so id go with the bauer instead of being one of the first to use the tours and taking a gamble

I would say Tours for an inline specific, or buildup your own (same as the Ice boot you currently are using) with an inline chassis, which you have to find yourself.

They are running goalie wheels, in 59mm (standard goalie size) Compliment them with labeeda patriot, and you are on your way

ya, there are many goalies who use the predator chassis with a 59mm wheel. I am one of them. Both the redline skate and the carbon gx run with 59mm wheels.

btw they offer rink rat crossbar wheels in 59mm
