Using Renfrew SuperSaver on blades

Hi, I have had a lot of problems with the bottom of the blades of my sticks cracking and i wondered if this product would help this if i applied it to the bottom of the blade? I know its designed for shafts but on epuck it says it can also be used on blades.

i beleive it is more for the prevention of knicks and cuts on the shaft, which lead to shaft breakage, the cracking of your blades is more of an impact issue i assume so this probally would do little to no good on a blade.
