Something ate my hotmail account

Today I was sitting at my computer and all of a sudden it said I was signed in at another location, so I tried signing back in and my password was changed. I tried doing the whole secret question thing but I cant even get that far, because they changed my setting and switched my country to something I dont know. So now i've been forced to use another email (not hotmail of course) and I lost alot of contacts because I cant remember everybody on my list. Very very dumb.
