Easton Stealth S5 Shin Guard Sizing

Recommended Posts

I see these come in Jr. 13" or Sr. 14". Other than the length, is there a difference btwn Jr. and Sr. sizing?

I am currently wearing Bauer 13" 8000's. I'm looking to slim down and lighten up the equipment... From my reading it appears the S5 is a pretty good shin pad that is light and less bulky than other shins.

Would the Jr. 13" be the pad I would wear if I bought the Easton's?

I actually just bought a pair of these online (haven't arrived yet).

My suggestion is just go into your LHS, try them off, poke at them, look at them and then look at the others. I personally like them, I also got them the same price as the Synergy 300s which is a steal.

i had the s5 shin pad, but where the stiching was left a nasty rash when they got a little bit sweaty. i would go with the sepreme one90 or 70 shin gaurds. i have they one90s and they work great, slim and light weight

if that was a common occurrence, I would consider going in another direction, but I'm guessing you just had a bad experience, as that is the 1st I've heard of that with the S5's.
