Try looking at the CCM Vector line.... hope they're what you're looking for.

yup the Vector 4.0's i had put you pretty heavily forward. 80-76-76-72 from back to front. i hated them always found myself too much forward, where it hurt my balance as well as was more of a pain skating backwards. i'm having a better time with the Vapors i have now :D

I believe it has to do with both. The Tri-Di Chassis puts you into a hockey stance and the boot in my opinion is also pretty arched. The Tri-Di setup 72-76-76-80 takes a little to get used to but after a while it's fine. Good luck finding the best skates for your personal preference.
