Sports Memorabilia Question.

Recommended Posts

Hey there guys, I have a question for any of you knowledgeable people out there.

I have an authentic Luc Robitaille Stanley cup winning picture. As seen below

Stanley Cup Picture

It's in mint condition and has the Stanley Cup "Hologram" on the bottom right corner. I am in Toronto, but cannot get to any sports memorabilia shops at the moment. Basically what I'm asking you people is how much to you think it is worth? Or could possibly grow to be? Seeing as he has retired now, I would think it has gone up slightly?

Also, the picture may look discolored or blurry, but thats because it is taken with my phone. It is actually quite a vibrant photo, I just don't know what to do with it.

Anyways. Thanks guys/gals.

Forgot to mention, it's autographed by Luc.

Do you have a certificate of authenticity? That is a big deal with all the fakes that go around. Frozen Pond in Toronto sells brand new Robitaille signed 8x10's for $45 each (US Funds). Sucks for me, since I've gotten most of my stuff signed in person I don't have any certificates so if it ever came down to me needing to sell some of my stuff (not like I would anyways) but I wouldn't be able to get anything for them without proof.

I don't have a certificate of Authenticity but had it signed in person by him.

Also, thanks for the tip on "Frozen Pond" I gave them a call but they don't buy or even look at items from the "general public".

Personally I'd keep it, get a nice frame for it and stuff. I have some of my signed stuff hanging up in my room like a 16X20 of Bryan Trottier, Personalized Pics of Doug Weight, Keith Tkachuk, Jeremy Roenick and Derian Hatcher and the rest are in boxes.
