Vector 7.0

I've found the Vector 7.5's on the web for $299, while the 7.0's are usually $15-$30 more. The only difference I can see in the skates are the improved perforated blades on the 7.5's. Why are they cheaper then?

It all depends on where you price things at. Any shop that has the 7.5 and 7.0 is going to have the 7.0 cheaper. Hockey monkey for example has the 7.5 at $319 and the 7.0 at $299. I know I have seen the 7.5's for $299 somewhere though. As for the differences, the scalloped steel is it.

I just skated in my 7.0 last night for the first time and I can tell you they are pretty sweet. That coming from a person who came from the old 652 PUMP. Took a little bit getting used to the stiffness and the E blades, but all in all they are excellent. I was surprised how much easier they are to skate in for the first time. No baking as of yet and I will need to have the hot spots punched out.
