Broken Blade

Please let me know if someone has already gave a tutorial for this but i seached and could not find anything... MY synergy broke on the toe, I know this is not a true one piece, so how can i remove the blade? Do i saw it off? Do I saw it and flip the stick? How do I find the fuse point?

Look closely and you'll see the fuse point line. Cut there.

Thanks for the links, I searched separting stick or something...

What are the benefits of a tapered blade? Is it worth the trouble sanding that area or should i just flip it and get a normal blade?

if you don't pull the blade out clean it can be a real hassle to chisel and sand it down etc. I would go with a standard blade, however, the flex point will be off. i don't think it's worth it to go with tapered, but some people will tell you otherwise.
