Cutting my toe

Recommended Posts

If i wanted a square toe on my one90 pm9 pattern, since i cant seem to find a pm9 curve with a square toe in ny company,is it ok to jsut cut the toe off my blade and then epoxy the open side. What would be the consequences to doing this? Also what would i use to do it, a hacksaw?

It will end up looking very strange because even the square blade patterns have curved edges in the corners, if you cut it it would be a solid point which could be hazardous

In my experience epoxy by itself won't last very long. I did it with a easton hybrid I had. Any impact is going to crack it, especially since you are likely to be exposing the foam core.

Yea after reconsideration, i figured if it was that simple, more poeple would be doing it. So ill scratch that and just go for the heatly.

i had a teammate a year ago that tried that because he had the same problem as you and they epoxy didnt hold for very long and was a waste of a $70 blade
