couple questions

First of all, the pattern dp says the spezza curve is a 5.5 lie and the sakic curve is a 5.5 lie, but when i put my sakic blade in last night the stick became a lot more verticle, like it had a higher lie than the spezza. ideas? could it be because the hosel on my spezza blade was longer?

2nd question, since my stick is now more vertical, do i cut it longer or shorter then it was when the spezza blad was in it? thanks.

bump: I have a game thursday so if anyone could help it would be great. i just dont want to cut my stick too short or too long because i wont have time to practice with it.
