Usually with simmons custom colors and sizing are not extra. But i would recommend also looking at smith's too before deciding on a set of pads. Smith Hockey

But it says on the site that it is a $150 upcharge for custom colours!

Does that not apply anymore?

Contact the shop, they have a toll free number, from what I recall. Straight from the horses mouth is always the best information that you are going to get.

simmons will be more than smiths after custom colors, because they are made overseas the price will go up because the amount to comunocation ect.

When did simmons start building their gear overseas?

This is a big misconception(big word eh, am I even using it in the right context lol) with Simmons pads, people reflect the quality from their advertising. People say their advertising and discription of the equipment is bad. Then people say Simmons is crap, and that their equipment is reflected from their advertising. Without even trying the pads!

make your own opinions, Simmons uses top quality foam and materials.

My good friend has a simmons glove, blocker, and armor. We went up there about six months ago, and they took very good care of him.

The quality on the stuff is excellent, and so is the comfort and value.

They even told him if he had any problems, or even if he got skate tears to bring it back, and they would take care of it for free.
