boot issue

I just was able to find a pair of 1998 bauer supreme 5000 skates to replace my old skates. These skates are used but like brand new. I see a slight boot to outsole seperation on one skate in the inside arch area. Slight meaning it is not flush with the outsole. The seperation is at most 1/16" inch and when I try to pry on it it doesnt show any more seperation other than at the outer edge. Should I be concerned? Thanks for the replies.

i wouldnt be concerned. my old ccm tacks were like that from brand new and i never had aproblem with them and it didnt get any worse either. but if you are really worried about it take it into a shoe repair shop and have them glue it for you.

Good, old-fashioned cobblers are generally better at repairing skate boots than hockey shops, IME. That is, of course, unless the skates are made like a cheap contemporary shoe.
