allegro 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Would appreciate any time that someone can spare who's involved in executive staff/ownership of an ice rink. I've bemoaned for years the lack of a good ice rink in my area of the city, and with the three other major and one minor ice rinks all being booked pretty solid I think the demand might be there to be able to support it. Very early stages-type questions.. nothing too detailed or hopefully too proprietary.Any time you can spare to answer some questions via email or IM (I'm on most of them) would be great. Send a PM? Gummer12 134 Report post Posted November 6, 2007 go ahead and post the Qs. But off hand, you say there are already Three rinks in your city, and are Fairly Booked up. I would imagine the word Fairly means that there still some open ice times available, albeit they might not be prime time, but available nonetheless. So ergo, Supply and Demand might be at it's equilibrium, or close to it. I would say without knowing much else, that unless the price per hour of ice is significantly cheaper, that another rink might not fly. But there are also other mitigating factors at work as well. Post as much info as you can, and the questions you have, and we'll be glad to help you out as much as we can.
