joelnmich 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2007 The 10 year rule will knock out most of the Summit Series players on the Canadian team as well....the Guys on XM were wondering if the 10 year rule was a way to get around the NHL's effect on stardom in hockey or if it was just a way to make sure that the Summit series wouldn't be the determing factor and another shot at the Soviets/Russia. oliverloran 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2007 The basic idea as i understood about the 10 year rule, is to make sure that only such people could be chosen who had major impact on international hockey, so by playing 4-5 times isnt enough.
