clarkoe 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2007 This is kind of a weird question, but does anyone know the price of a new Zamboni, as well as the price of the Ice Edger that rink workers use to clean up the edge of the rink? And also how long it takes to 'edge' a rink?I realize these questions may be a little weird, but its for a project I am doing, so any help would be much appreciated.Daniel
GoHawks 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2007 "A standard gas-burning Zamboni runs about fifty-thousand dollars" from an article in a St. Paul newspaper, I believe... here's the link:http://www.rakemag.com/reporting/features/...ve-too-much-funnot sure if that's really accurate, but it seems feasible to me. clarkoe 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2007 Thanks. Anyone with any info on edgers?
UMWhockey 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2007 it all depends on type and if it is used or not. There is a large market for both used resurfacers and edgers... resurfacers can range anywhere up to 90K new and edgers can be as expensive as 10K depending on how nice a one you get
