does the dye leave a glossy finish or matte?

I wouldn't say its a super high gloss, but its not flat.

I've got a pair of black tuuks on my other skates, and the color is basically the exact same.

IMO it looks just like they would look if they came black from the factory.

Gave it a whirl tonight, not really staying on. Prolly cause the boots are waterproof, wonder if theres anything else i can use.

Did you dye the boot or the blade holder? The mixture has to be hot when you finally dye the holder. If its not hot I don't think the dye will set on the bladeholder. . .

Small area on the tongue, I want to change the grey areas to black, straight from the bottle so maybe i need to warm it.
