Intermediate easton tapered blade

Recommended Posts

So, following suit....

I assume an Easton Synergy II Intermediate shaft will only fit Easton Intermediate tapered blades, not senior blades like other intermediate non-tapered shafts. Correct?

Also, does anyone beside Easton actually make tapered intermediate blades (e.g. Syn II)?

I looking to buy an intermediate shaft/blade combo for a (girl)friend of mine with a 65 flex, and it looks like Easton Syn. II is my only option. I got a 70 flex Cylone for her and it's stiffer than my 85 Flex Synergy ST(!), so it didn't work out.

Any ideas welcome.

Yeah, I got my roommate an Easton Synthesis intermediate shaft and it's been a bit of a pain buying the replacement blades since Easton is the only one that makes blades that fit correctly into it.

Easton's intermediate standard shafts take senior blades, so maybe that's the way to go--I'm not sure if they made the Z-Bubble in intermediate this year, I think I spotted the an older intermediate Z-Bubble on TotalHockey.net for $70.

I bought my (ex-girl)friend an intermediate 67 flex one90 shaft and she seems to be liking it over the CCM110 intermediate shaft she had been using the last four years.

HockeyMonkey still has the intermediate 75 flex Mission L-2 shaft for $65 that comes with two blades (http://www.hockeymonkey.com/sfrbl2combointc.html). The value is pretty darn good. The Mission intermediates take junior blades.

Thanks for the info! The One90 Int. shaft (67 flex) looks promising, providing I can find a short hosel standard wood blade (Forsberg or clone) so she doesn't have to hack it down so much and make it too stiff.

You may also want to consider a Warrior Dolomite Intermediate. It's listed as a 70 but I've also tried a Christian/Harrow Intermediate which is a 65 and the Warrior feels whippier.
