You don't need an agency to play at a Canadian university

Just email the coaches from the universities that interest you. They have online forms you could fill or you can call them directly.

I remember making the same suggestion to a kid this summer. It took him a month before he called the coach and was relieved to find out how helpful he turned out to be.

He won't guarantee you a spot if that's what you want but he can promise you a try out.

As for tuition and living expenses. Playing on the team makes no difference.

Don't know if this will help, but there are partial athletic scholarships in some parts of Canada. I am fairly sure that they are not available in Ontario. You should call the coaches at several universities in several provinces and they will tell you the level of play that it takes to make their team and they will know all about available financial assistance and scholarships.

Best of luck :

Financial assistance to student-athletes

Athletic financial awards (scholarships) are offered at Canadian universities, but the value and quantity of awards and bursaries differs by province, region, institution, and sport.

Academics are an important focus for student-athletes in Canada, and the competitive sports system encourages the development of both academics and athletics. Student athletes must meet a minimum 65 percent academic average to qualify for athletic scholarships, but a number of athletes have higher grades than this minimum. In 2005, almost 20 percent of student-athletes achieved an academic average of 80 percent or higher while competing for their university.

In 2003-04, approximately one in four Canadian Interuniversity Sport student athletes received an athletic award, with the average award per student in the $1,500 range. Students can check with athletic departments at each institution for more information on award availability and conditions
