Feedback on OPS repairs

Does anybody have experience with repaired OPS sticks?

Once they are repaired, can you tell a difference? Does it change the flex of the shaft if that is where it was repaired?

What about purchasing an OPS that has been repaired?

Any feedback is appreciated?

I have searched, and found lots of information on pricing, but not much firsthand experience about the results.

Maybe it was the 15 pages of results I got form a search for OPS repairs.

There are a few other threads if you search for "stick repair" or "stick fix" (using quotes in the search engine, which means it will search for the exact phrase).
