Graf Tendon Guard and Baking

Had my skates baked in a Mission oven today. After the bake, they fit much better. The only thing I noticed is the tendon guard is a bit warped. The tendon guard on Grafs is all leather and easily flexible. Is this going to affect anything or is it purely cosmetic? I could always heat the guard up with a hair dryer and shape them back to the way they should be, but I don't see a need to if it's just cosmetic.
