devilsfan26 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2008 Hey guys, I came across a real good deal on hockeymonkey, they are selling pro stock Warrior shafts for real cheap. I was considering buying a Dolemite shaft, but I've never bought any pro stock equipment before. Since it is just a shaft you don't need to worry about a blade pattern, so I was wondering if there any downsides other than there being no warranty, or is that the only difference between pro stock and retail? Thanks ahead of time and sorry if there is already a thread on this. Adam 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2008 Devsfan, from what I understand, the warranty is an issue and also hockeymonkey will not accept returns on pro stock equipment. With that said, I purchased a package of 2 AK27s and both were the same length. I don't know how the length of the pro stock AK27 compares to a new AK27 Warrior shaft, but I am very happy with them.I am awaiting a pro stock dolomite now. I was worried about the length because I read on one post that the sticks are made to the specifications of individual professional players. However, in another post I read that someone received two dolomites and each were 53" long. Well, my $120 dolomite (with the awesome warranty) is also 53" long. I am confident that the pro stock dolo will be of the same specs as a warranty-laden shaft. I will post the results when it comes. My opinion: I was skeptical at first, but after a ton of research I bit the bullet and decided to get a couple. Thus far, I am very happy with the results. That may all change if my pro stock dolo is a different length than my full price dolo, but I have no reason to believe that it will.

BigDipper 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2008 The fellas over on the ice hockey equipment forum have mixed feelings. Check it out theres about 4-5 pages. One guy ordered 6 and got 3-2 and the one all different. Great deal, I was going to jump at the chance but after reading all the mixed reviews I decided to stay with the 6 I have now. Check it out tho, interesting enough
