Graf/Cobra Runner Screw System

I took out the screws today and removed the runners to get some Loctite on them to stop them from coming loose and clicking. Upon reinstalling, PAIN IN THE ASS, I noticed the steel was tilted just a hair...is this from over tightening or was it like that before and I didn't even notice? Any info on this appreciated, ty.
