RBK Goalie Skate Sizing

Could someone please advise how RBK goalie skates size compared to Bauer ?

I have Bauer 3000 size 6.5, and as near as I can tell I would be a 6 in RBK ??

The fit is totally dissimilar - length, width, heel, forefoot, ankle, depth...

If you can't try them on, don't buy them.

I you like the steel & cowlings, buy those and have them put on Bauer boots.

agreed. Skates are by far the MOST (or tied with a helmet for most) important part of your equipment. DO NOT buy skates before trying them on.

Take the time to get fitted properly. I know from my own skate shopping adventure, that RBK goal skates fit very shallow, so unless you've got a slim foot, the RBKs may not fit you. I tried on a 9K goal skate, and my foot stuck out over the eyelets; It's a shallow boot. I was told to move to another skate,

I found a better fit in a graf. For the money spent, and the fact your skates are supporting your body, and your only physical connection to the ice, it's worth investing the time (and money) in a good fitting, supportive pair of skates.

Hey, I got Bauer 3000s in 6.5 and went to RBKs in 6.5 as well. I was pretty surprised that I got the same size skate because I heard they fit differntly, but I guess my feet just seem to fit both in the same size. Hope that helps?
