PLEASE!!! someone give me some feedback on this skate!!! IS IT LIGHT? just as light as the code 1 or a lot heavier than the code 1???

ANY INFO will be greatly appreciated!!!

I don't have the cobalt 8.8s, but i know that the 8.8s are heavier than the code 1s because the code 1 were one of the lightest skates ever made. Why not just get the code 1s?

Do you think they are a lot heavier... would they still be considered a very light skate? and well i just want to know whats good about these skates.. code 1's are a litle bit out of my price range.. i know its not a very big difference.. but theres still a difference...

anyone who has used them? PLEASE SHARE YOUR INPUT!!!

thankx

so you say that you didnt feel the diference between the code reds and the 8.8's... but all in all do you think they are a light skate? a good skate..?

the code red's werent bad mine were the wrong size for me so they broke down in less than a year

im not one to notice weight when im skating

I have to completely agree, you probably won't notice weight when skating unless it's really a big difference. Comparing my old Mission D3C's and my new Soldiers, the Soldiers are actually a bit heavier, but blow away the D3C's in performance and less muscle fatigue etc. So don't worry as much about weight and go for performance :)

being in their price range there are skates that are going to perform better and there will be skates that are going to perform worse for 200 bucs and what they have to offer id say they would be a good deal if they fit your foot right

thank you very much nicky... i really appreciate it.. to be honest, anything that i'd buy would be better than what i have.. i have HE250 which are preety much shit .. they were 95 dollars new.. and dont get me wrong.. ived play in NARCH but living in mexico its not easy geting ahold of good skates! so i just wanted to make sure that for the 214 dlls +tax i would be geting a good , fast, LIGHT skate! thats all... do you agree that they are a good , light skate? maybe not as much as the code 1's but are they up there?

I play on the weekends with a guy who used to skate on one90s converted with red star alloys, he was a manager at Total Hockey and opened a couple of their stores, so he knows his stuff.

He skated on the gold Qs this past weekend for the first time and really like them but said they were real stiff and heavier than he'd expected.

Whatever that means to you.
