Does anybody use this bag?

Recommended Posts

Lots of guys have used them, with varying success in terms of their drying ability. they're HUGE bags, so i hope you've got a big trunk.

There's a pretty big thread over in the ice hockey section.

also note that you need to purchase the blower separately. if you're not interested in the drying/blower aspect of it, it's still a decent bag, just very large and bulky. you would probably be better off with a regular wheel bag.

Warrior is also working on a bag with a built in blower to dry gear, but there isn't a ton of info out there on it yet as it's yet to be released. (It should be out in the spring)

I wouldnt be interested in buying the attachment that goes with it to dry everything out, just the bag. Wasn't sure if the actual bag functionability was any good.

Guess i should have done a search, sorry :(

Thank you very much for the link!

Like I said in the other post, it's huge. it has a metal bar that sticks up, so you can't really cram it into a tight space like a car trunk. I hate the darn thing when I'm carpooling with a friend who has one because it takes up so much space that I have to put it in my backseat. Constructionwise, it seems pretty sturdy, although the early models had issues with wheels breaking (it's noted in the other thread.) They were on clearance for a while last year. The price on IW seems to be on par with the ones they were blowing out on HG and HM.

THanks again, I went through and read the 12 pages on the other two threads. I apologize for not searching first.

I really appreciate the information. I think I am going to stay away from this bag. I am going to keep searching for a wheeled bag around this price range. I dont want one that is going to take up that much space.

I've got the Stealth S7 wheel bag. the thing is a monster.

Check out the Synergy 700 bag. A teammate just got that one and it's not too big, but fits everything he needs in there.

out of curiosity, are you using it strictly for inline? or for ice as well? the stealth bag (and the SD) are wayyy overkill for inline use only. You could probably get away with a JR. wheel bag for inline.

That is what I was wondering, I am only using it for inline so I figured i could get away with using a smaller bag. I was looking at the 36" Stealth S9 wheeled bag. I could probably get away with a 32" bag???

My bag kinda stinks, and my apartment is REALLY small, so I hate keeping my equipment inside because of the smell. I bought this bag figuring that if it dried my equipment and took the smell out, I would be able to keep my stuff inside. It dried my equipment fine, and the fan thing really took the smell out of my bag. The bad part is, it blew the smell all around my apt. It took me a week to get the smell out of my place.

I tried it again a week later to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

It wasn't!!

:(
