BobMcRobertson 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2008 All,For those who have actually fitted folks for skates I have a question. I took the footbaed out of my skates to air and dry them out and noticed my foot imprint ends about an inch from the end by big toe, more by the little toe. Are these skates to big? They are a size 9 RBK. I wear a 10-11 shoe (depending on the make, it could be a 10, 10.5, or 11). Thanks in advance for the input.DGR

Thanks in advance for the input.DGRI wear a size 10.5 in Asics running shoes, and 8.5 in my RBK 7K's. Fit has a lot to do with personal preference with regards to length....the most important aspect of skate fitment is heel lock. My heel is locked in both the 9 and 8.5....but personally I prefer to be able to just barely get my big toe to scrape the inside of the end of the toe cap....thus I went with the 8.5. It sounds like they may be a touch long for you....but once again, as long as your heel is locked in the place, you have a little bit more play with regards to length. fatwabbit 93 Report post Posted February 19, 2008 am with spreedizzle. I wear a 10.5 sneaker and wear 8.5 in Eastons, Bauers and RBKs. Always worn larger skates previously, but now feel that with skates that properly fit, I'm a lot more confident in my skating.
