skate sizes

im buying new skates soon ,has anyone tried skates that are a bit too big ,i had a size 8 1/2 last year and theyre too small but i got my feet measured and im just over an 8 1/2 but not quite a 9 ,will this affect my skating if the skates are that much too big ,btw im only 14 and my feet will probably keep growning

thats fien i had the same problem as u, a half size wont make that much of a difference. I went from xx size 10 to vector size 10 and theya re prob bout half size difference

thanks ,i was just worried that id like trip over them ,im also going from a graf 502 to graf 735 how long will the t blades take to get used to ,i havent played in a few months and i'm a good skater just in case thats a factor ,i dont wanna have a tough time skating because....its tryouts
