rbk 8k bucket ears?

in my previous helmets i have always removed the ear covers for a better feel and i have recently got the new 8k and have tried removing them but cannot seam to find how to, usely they are held on the the j clips but not on this.

does anyone know how to do this?? or have any past experianses this ?

i realy want to remove them as they make me feel very uncomfortable as i am used to helmets without them.

please help.

there are clips above the ear things inside. its tricky but can be done

Kinda have to push the cover Up into the helmet, it sits in there kinda like a hanger.

We did this yesterday and needed to remove a bit of the lining. Then they easily popped out of the casing. Once the padding was out they came out real simply

I didn't have to remove anything for mine. Hold the helmet so you're looking at the earpiece from the outside. Slide your finger up between the earpiece and the plastic outer shell of the helmet. You'll feel the 2 clips that hold them in place - push them away from you (towards the inside of the helmet) and they'll pop right out.
