First inline skates for a 6 year old

Recommended Posts

My son has been ice hockey skating for just over a year, for his his birthday he wants some inline skates so he can practice more often. Are there any particular brands/features that I need to look for? I see a few places have Junior skates in the $40 to $80 range and this would suit well. Mainly to be used on the road and occasionally in sports halls.

Thanks

Mission or Tour adjustable kids skates depending on his foot size

I 2nd the Tour Wizards....bought some for my daughter some time back. They adjust from a size 12 up to a youth 1 or something. She's had those same skates for years.

Just recently saw the mission adjustables...loook pretty much the same.

make sure the fit is proper. an adjustable skate will be a good idea as long as they fit properly. too often you see kids skating with skates too big or too loose which can lead to an ankle injury or bad skating habits.
