Graf Heat Molded footbeds

Recommended Posts

Like the topic says looking for thoughts and opinions on the Graf "Heat Moldable" footbeds.

I've skated in Superfeet for awhile, But I got rid of my last pair in the skates I sold because I lost the original insoles.

With that being said I was thinking about trying the Grafs. But I just want to make sure their even worth trying.

Ive used both,

and for the price of the graf customs to the superfeet, I say stick with the superfeet. I cannot feel a difference in comfort or performance. I would never even have picked them up if the graf beds weren't free. Im a huge fan of superfeet, have them in everything.

I swear by my graf custom footbeds. Any other insteps, superfeet, shock doctor, graf's insteps, nothing comes close to the comfort in the customs.

The thing is, I have no arch and wide feet. So it could just be that my foot does not like the superfeet. But my vote is for the custom if you have the extra money.

if your skates are a little big would these footbeds fill up the extra room?

depends how they're "big". if they're deep, then yes. if they're wide, maybe. if they're long, no.

I've been using Superfeet but I bought them from a store that specializes in running shoes and custom fitting shoes. I took my skates to his store and he customized the superfeet to my feet. My left foot tends to pronate and the custom foot bed has solved that problem but the custom foot bed does take up more room. I have a high instep so the thicker foot bed adds to the issue.

btw, thanks to everyone on this site. I've been reading here for a while and the info has been extremely helpful. Thanks!
