raygunpk 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2008 Everytime I put my stick to down to intercept a pass the puck always seems to go under my stick, in some little crack. Yet everybody else intercepts me all the time when I try the same..Are you supposed to lay the stick FLAT down and just hold it with your fingertips? The crack is created because I hold my stick and my knuckles touch the ice. Or maybe I'm just angling wrong?
ean 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2008 you'd be surprised at how well this block works. The key is to grip the stick so that the blade points straight up in the air, gripping it with the thumb and fingers on the SIDE. You can't have yourknuckles underneath or else you get the gap. It's not finger tips, you can get your entire thumb running along the shaft. Have fun and block away
