BramptonAssJag 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2008 Hey guys a couple years ago I got a Nike Quest shaft similar to the one Lecavlier used like 7 years ago. I used a wooden forsberg curve but i had a problem shooting. It said 'low kick' on it some i guess thats a low kick point and it felt like a flex 65 (I was like 110lbs at the time, so it was pretty whippy, but not too whippy). anyways i also used to use a yellow synergy 100 flex modano curveand shot fine with it and I had a problem with the nike. I wasnt able to get the puck high quick. If i shot from the slot i could only get the puck 3/4 of the way up in the net. I now use a drury and sakic curve, both 100 flex, and im thinking about getting an 85 flex stick. Im just wondering whats the problem and ifs it too whippy will it happen again to me. Oh and also i was looking at the NBH 2008 catalog and it showed the different flexes in the one90 and XXXX on how the XXXX has a Low kick poitn and how the one 90 has a mid one. can someone explain the differences (pros and cons of each), and what easton stick has a flex like the one90?thanks alot guys

BramptonAssJag 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 im just wondering how people are likeing the one90 for slappers?
Lord ZipLock 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 I am using the one90 now and find it too be a very good stick overall and excellent for one timers it gives you a nice heavy shot, def better than say a vapor XXX-lite for slap shots.
BramptonAssJag 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 Oh sik some guys selling some gagne curve ones, just wondering whats the difference between a gagane and drury?
Lord ZipLock 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 well gange is a NBH pattern and drury is an Easton pattern however id o believe that the NBH version is the p91a/p91 correct me if i am wrong and you can compare them on the stick customizer on HBH's site.
